Data and analytics engineer and analyst focused on the developer tool space. I'm a passionate learner who loves a challenging problem to solve and I thrive in a workplace where I am able to level up my skills and also mentor others who are trying to level up their skills. I have an eye for automation and creating efficient data solutions for the people I work with. I've worn a lot of hats in my 15+ years in technology roles and I think they are all pieces in the very unique experience puzzle that is me.

Data cleaning & analyzing

Using SQL & Python to clean, analyze and visualize data. I pretty much use both every (work) day! 

Documentation

 I believe documentation in any project is just as important as the project itself. I love to organize and document a project. I think almost everything should have a URL, especially in a remote working environment.

Data modeling

Taking raw disjointed datasets and transforming them into usable, business friendly entities that folks with little to no SQL knowledge can use.

Mentorship

I love learning and I love passing along my learnings to other folks. I thrive in roles where I can be mentored and I can pass along skills i've learned to others.

Data automation

Using tools like Fivetran and Airflow to automate data loading processes. Writing Python scripts and Jinja macros to make my life a little easier. Building reports to monitor data quality and issues in an automated way.

Executive presence

I have a ton of experience presenting to leadership and executive teams as well as putting together quarterly board and investor reports. If you'd like some samples of this work please let me know!
